Team of 'Chamkila' had a lot of fun at 'The Great Indian Kapil Show'

Comedian Kapil Sharma needs no introduction today. From the laughter challenge to making his show and his name, Kapil has not only made people laugh but has also won their hearts. Today, Kapil Sharma, who has made his name a household name, is now visible directly on TV on Netflix. Kapil Sharma and his team are seen in a completely new style on the new platform.

Let us tell you that Kapil's old partner Sunil Grover along with Krishna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Rajeev Thakur, and Archana Puran Singh are seen in 'The Great Indian Kapil Show' streaming on Netflix. The person who has a hand in taking Kapil's Show to the international level is Netflix India's series head Tanya Bami, who has taken 'The Kapil Sharma Show' from TV to the Netflix platform.

To promote the film 'Amar Singh Chamkila', the film director Imtiaz Ali and Diljit Dosanjh, playing the character of Amar Singh Chamkila in the film, and Parineeti Chopra, playing the character of his wife Amarjot, came on the show.

A night filled with laughter and music

While welcoming the guest, Kapil jokingly told Diljit, “When the film Chamkila was announced, I knew that if anyone other than me could do this role, then it is Diljit paaji.” In response to this Diljit says, “When this show was announced and I came to know that it will be streamed in many countries, I was firmly convinced that if anyone other than me can do this show, it is you.”

Praising Diljit's work, Kapil says that when you watch this film, you do not see Diljit anywhere, he only looks bright everywhere.

When asked about playing the character of Chamkila in the film, Diljit says, “I thought I am from Punjab, so I understand Chamkila very well, but when I met Imtiaz sir he had done 

complete research on Chamkila. How he gets up, how he walks, how he speaks, everything.”

When Kapil asked director Imtiaz Ali how he got the idea of making a film on Amar Singh Chamkila. In response to this Imtiaz said, “I have shot many films there and during that time I got a chance to understand the people there and their culture.”

Shahrukh Khan praised Diljiit 

Director Imtiaz told a very surprising thing on Kapil's show. He says that Shahrukh Khan had told him that if there is any best actor in this country then it is Diljit Paaji.

Kapil tells Diljit that you are such an expensive artist, your shows are held in India and abroad for which you also charge a lot of money. Apart from acting in this film, you are also singing, so have you taken any amount of money for this? In response to this Diljit says, “Singing with the film is free”

After this, Kapil asks Parineeti that Pari, when you came to know that in this film you will get a chance to sing along with acting, then you must have paid the money from your pocket because you are very fond of singing. On this Parineeti says, “I said don't even act.”

Kapil asks Parineeti, there is a rumor that you used to go to Rahman sir's office for six months to practice singing. To which Pari says, “Yes because the Punjabi accent had to be perfect. Because they used to sing in typical Punjabi. Our effort was to sing as authentically as possible. Which was quite difficult.”

Imtiaz says “All the songs sung by Chamkila and his wife in the film have been shot live.”

On this occasion, Diljit and Parineeti also sang a song from the film on the show, and their melodious voices added to the show.

Rehman has given music in a Punjabi film, on which Kapil jokingly asks Imtiaz if the music was Punjabi, then was there no doubt in your mind that I am making Punjabi food and I am bringing the chef from Chennai? The kulchas may become idli sized. To this, Imtiaz gave a very brilliant answer, “I have eaten in his restaurant so many times that I knew that he is a multi-cuisine man.”

Kapil says that to date, he has met Rahman sir thrice, and he talked twice. Kapil further says that for the first time, he told me “Good” and for the second time he said, “Thank you”.
Is it possible that Kapil's show should not be a joke game and his co-actors should come and make people laugh with their antics? Each character made people laugh in their own style.
