The songs and music of this film attract the youth because the title of the film itself is based on the lyrics of the song 'Dulhan Hum...’ Once again the song 'Odh Li Chunariya Tere Naam Ki' is on people's lips.

Written most songs for Salman Khan

How much Sudhakar's words resonate with Salman can be gauged from the fact that even today Salman resorts to 'Odh Li Chunariya...' in every stage program and, now that his love is at its peak. Yes, the phrase 'Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge' has become synonymous with Salman. The credit for this goes to lyricist Sudhakar Sharma.

His obsession with the word Chunari

'Not just me, everyone... credit should go to everyone. ‘Sudhakar says hesitantly. "It is true that till now I have written most of the songs for Salman's films, but everyone's hard work is done by the composer, hero, heroine, and director. When everyone's thinking works together, only then a film is made." Since writing 'Odh Li Chunariya... (From the film 'Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya') in just three years, Sudhakar has written twenty Chunariya songs for Salman-Govinda starrer films. Does he expect the same from 'Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge'? When asked Sudhakar says- “I don't know, time will tell. Yes, a record has been made for 'Chunariya'. Recently, I have written a Holi-based Chunari song for musician Rajesh Roshan - 'Sawan na bheegi, bhado na bheegi, Phagun mein bheeg gayi chunariya...' 'Maybe this song will also be filmed on Salman only.

Film star's favorite Lyricist

Along with 'Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge', other films with Sudhakar's songs are 'Kahin Pyaar Na Ho Jaye' (Salman-Rani), 'Jodi No.1' (Sanjay Dutt-Govinda), Kurukshetra (Sanjay Dutt-Sarzmi) and 'Pyaar Bina Kya Jeena, 'Mhari Maa Santoshi' (Rajasthani), 'Roop Tera Mastana', Ketan Desai's film (Salman-Karisma) and Anees Bazmee's film. For these films, he has composed the music of Himesh Reshammiya, Anand Raj Anand, and Rajesh Roshan. “All these films will tell what the future style of my songs will be.” Saying this, Sudhakar sighs with satisfaction. “After a long struggle, today the situation has come that the star gives his choice – take the song from Sudhakar. This is my encouragement.”

Why Salman only?

The team of Sudhakar Sharma and Himesh Reshammiya is very popular in the industry because they have given songs mostly for Salman, the reason for this? When asked he says,

“It's just a matter of working together and getting tuned, that's all. I have indeed worked more with Himesh. But I have worked and am working with others also. Of course, today I can take the name of the hit albums of Ismail Darbar, Anand Raj Anand, Rajesh Roshan, and Falguni Pathak (Maine Payal Jo Chhankai), but the support behind me has been only from Himesh. Together we have prepared four hundred songs.”

Considers himself a poet with an emotional heart

You had some dispute with Anand Raj Anand regarding the songs of the film 'Pardeshi Babu', what was the matter?!

“Now I don't want to get into any new controversies, so please… Now we have good relations.”

'The team of Sudhakar and composer Himesh will write songs only for stars, the reason for this rumor?! “I don't know who is spreading such things. Brother, I am a lyricist and am available to everyone. If I talk about myself, I can only say that I am a poet who has an emotional heart. I am also doing serials (Aashiqui, Aangan), and also doing albums. An album of mine has been recorded in London, which is a new musician but is going to do worldwide marketing.
