Ahaan Pandey to star in YRF and Mohit Suri's young love story!

Aditya Chopra, head of India's most prestigious production company Yash Raj Films, has consistently demonstrated his penchant for unearthing the country's brightest talent. Adi has given India two of the biggest stars of our generation, Anushka Sharma and Ranveer Singh, who have enthralled everyone with their talent. He is now grooming Ahaan Pandey, whom Adi feels has the potential to become one of India's top actors.

Ahaan was signed five years ago

Ahaan was signed as a YRF talent about five years ago to undergo intensive training programs personally tailored by Aditya Chopra to prepare him to the best of his ability before signing a big film of the banner. The wait for Ahaan to appear on the big screen is now over as we have confirmed information that he will be starring in YRF and Mohit Suri's young love story!

A trade source informs, “Ahaan has been personally shaped by Aditya Chopra over the years. YRF has kept him a secret so he can focus on improving his craft. For the industry, the launch of Ahaan Pandey is the biggest debut by a youngster in the Hindi film industry in the last few years and YRF is showing its intention to make him a star. The big project she has been signed for is Mohit Suri's love story!”

The source adds, “Ahaan was introduced to Mohit Suri so that the director could assess whether he is the right actor to headline his film and be the quintessential romantic hero. Ahaan worked under Mohit and was impressed with his audition and multiple screen tests! Mohit wanted a new, young boy who had the charisma to be a hero on the big screen and he is extremely excited with Ahaan’s potential!”

Yash Raj Films is creatively collaborating with Mohit Suri (Aashiqui 2, Ek Villain), who is considered a master of the romantic genre due to his tremendous hits. This is the first film to be produced by the company's CEO Akshay Vidhini. Aditya Chopra, the creative force at YRF, is empowering Akshay Vidhini and his leadership team to build creative partnerships with the brightest minds in the Hindi film industry.
