The highly anticipated spectacular teaser for multi-starrer multi-lingual 'Kannappa', a masterpiece mytho-epic film based on the legendary tale of Kannappa, was unveiled at a special media afternoon event held at PVR-Icon in Mumbai.
Bollywood macho mega-star Akshay Kumar, known for his simplicity, actor-producer Vishnu Manchu, director Mukesh Kumar Singh, and other primary members of the cast and crew gathered to celebrate the moment. The event was honored by the gracious presence of Vinay Maheshwari, the Executive Producer of the film. The teaser, which has generated significant buzz, offers a glimpse into a historical narrative of devotion, sacrifice, and grandeur.'Kannappa’.
Akshay was joined by charming ('Roja') co-star-actress Madhoo ( Madhubala) for this teaser launch-event of 'Kanappa' exclusively held for the news- media, where he seemed to be in a jestful, masti-bharaa mood. Akshay reacted "I am so happy to meet Madhu ji today. I did a film with her. She played my lead role with me. A film called 'Elaan'... 'Zaalim' bhi ki thi. So, I am very very happy. I am meeting her after 20 years or something.. But you haven't changed at all. You look the same. And I told her also, aisa lagta hai bilkul change nahi hai. Aisa lagta hai, raat ko fridge mein jaake soh jati hai. (It seems she steps into the fridge at night to sleep."
In a soft-sweet, graceful, image-defying different role Madhoo plays an action-oriented fierce warrior-queen Pannaga in the movie 'Kannappa'.
Movie 'Elaan' (1994) and was directed by Guddu Dhanoa. It stars Akshay Kumar, Madhoo, and Amrish Puri.. Whereas Zaalim (1994) produced by showman G P Sippy featured Akshay Kumar opposite Madhoo with co-star Vishnuvardhan.
The Kannappa teaser was exclusively shown to media attendees at the event, with the full teaser set to be available for the audiences on March 1st.

With its breathtaking visuals and epic storyline, Kannappa promises to be one of the most anticipated films of 2025. The teaser, which has already garnered attention at the Cannes Film Festival, will be available to the public on March 1st. The film is set to release in theaters worldwide on Friday April 25, 2025.
