One such project, ‘Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol’, has completed 13 years since its release. To celebrate the milestone, the megastar shared some behind-the-scenes images on his social media stories, writing, “13 years ago, Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol brought together a powerhouse cast and unforgettable moments. From scaling the Burj Khalifa to iconic red-carpet appearances, these memories remain timeless. Truly an honor to have been part of this incredible journey. Anil Kapoor's Role in Mission Impossible: Brij Nath's Key Connection

In the film, Kapoor played Brij Nath, an Indian media tycoon who controlled satellite codes with the power to launch missiles. His pivotal character became a critical element of the narrative as Tom Cruise’s character, Ethan Hunt had to stop his plans and retrieve the override codes. A portion of the movie was also shot in Mumbai, adding a unique connection to Kapoor’s role in the franchise.

Meanwhile, 2024 has been an extraordinary year for the cinema icon. Following the blockbuster success of ‘Fighter’, Kapoor got featured on the prestigious TIME100AI list. His series ‘The Night Manager’ received an Emmy nomination, and he took home an IIFA Award for his stellar performance in ‘Animal’. Fans are eagerly awaiting his next project, ‘Subedaar’, marking his first collaboration with director Suresh Triveni.
