Parul's Fierce Avatar in a Gritty Chambal Saga
With a rugged face, dusty look and a tough attitude, Parul's character exudes strength and toughness. Her unmasked look shows her holding a country-made katta with conviction - a trait that requires hard practice and training to achieve. Her look and demeanour match the reality of the character, bringing alive the horrific landscape of Chambal.
Talking about this revolutionary role, Parul said, 'Playing a bandit in Donali has been one of the most exciting experiences of my life. The character is raw, determined and outspoken - completely different from anything I have done till date. The look itself is unpretentious, it is simple, real and intense. Getting to know the Desi katta, learning its use and understanding the mind of a person living on the rugged land of Chambal was an experience in itself. This role did not require me to look beautiful, but was about getting into it. The entire process from weapons training to getting used to the dialect and body language has been tough and thrilling. I am looking forward to showing this side of me to the audience." 'Donali' stars Barun Sobti in the lead role. The series delves into a gripping tale that explores the depths of the world of crime, power and survival.
