Today ‘Chhaava’ is one of the most special films in my heart, and I would have done anything to be here today. This is how much Chhaava the film and the team mean to me. Even if I had to stand on one leg and travel all the way from Hyderabad to Mumbai, I would have still made it,. Watching the trailer of ‘Chhaava’ emotionally choked me.. I consider myself privileged, blessed, and extremely lucky, that even though I am a South Indian actress, director Laxman Utekar-Sir and producer Dinesh Vijan-Sir finalized me to play the ‘Maharani’ in ‘Chhaava’. Whatever resilient vibes Rashmika demonstrated and said on stage validate her passion and dedication to her acting profession. Although she suffered a severe leg-injury, she didn't let that affect her work commitments and made it to the event.

'Chhaava' is a fabulous story, and they are such impactful, majestic characters, how do you play them? There were a lot of rehearsals and practice for language, intense drama, and everything,” she said.
