This unique musical bridge has happened for the first time between famous Qawwali (Sufi devotional music) singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and opera singer Gioconda Vescielli when these two genres - Qawwali and Opera have been fused in a song. The title of this song is "Mohabbat Kya Hai". Gioconda said that this song depicts "What is love?" in a universal sense and tells that where there is love and music, boundaries are not a barrier. It was released on July 16, 2025. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Gioconda Vessichelli have worked together as the producers of this song. Gioconda stands out for blending opera with Indian music, which earned her the Indian Women's Award in 2014. She also sings in Bollywood films and works on new genre music that joins different cultures. When she was a teenager, she left home to follow her dreams of singing.
