Gioconda Vessichelli, the world-famous opera queen, Bollywood singer, and inventor of the BollywoOpera trend, has shared her deep faith in the Divine Kumbh Mela in India and a unique and immersive experience in her article.
Gioconda, who visited the holy Kumbh pilgrimage without makeup and shoes, and even lost (or perhaps shed away) her clothes in the holy Sangam river and immersed herself in puja like a sadhvi, covering her beautiful fair youthful body with a piece of cloth all the time. Gioconda said that she was experiencing a unique peace while sitting with the sadhus there.
Despite her young age and unremarkable presence, the sadhus referred to her as “Mata Ji”, and people began seeking blessings from her. Devotees coming from far and wide mistook her for a sadhvi and began pouring money and coins in her hands and seeking blessings from her in return. Gioconda understood that this money was not for her but for the Sadhus and Saints and so she handed over the offerings she received at the Kumbh, to the Sadhus and Saints. She said that What she was receiving as a Sadhvi was not for the opera queen but for the Sadhvis and Gurus. So Gioconda decided to donate all the offerings she received to Shiv Ji and her Guru, Sadhu Baba Ji, in her act of spiritual generosity. In her Kumbh visit, Vessichelli immersed herself in the essence of the Kumbh Mela and connected deeply with the Babas who have renounced the material world. Although she does not consider herself a full-time Sadhu, but she has become dedicated to praying for humanity.
Having traveled to 154 countries, performing magic on every stage around the world, Gioconda has inspired people with her wisdom and aura, offering them guidance and solutions to their struggles. For now, though, Vessichelli continues her mission to enlighten people through her music, believing that her songs can reach even more individuals.
In the world of music, shows,s, and playback singing, she is a naughty, flirty, sexy celebrity but when her mind is disturbed, when she is tired, there are times when she embraces the sadhu attire and roams the world with a small backpack on her back. In that tiny backpack, she carries only the essentials and continues her spiritual journey in the world. The following article written by Gioconda reflects her deep spiritual connection to Kumbh Mela and also her commitment to spread light and knowledge through her music. Read carefully what Gioconda had in her mind when she wrote it.
Happy to share my #spiritual #journey @ddnews_official in #khumbmela ✨ all the sadhus I have met in Khumb Mela agreed that I am an unconventional Sadhu and they started calling me #MATA Ji; people started asking blessings from me, and this was unbelievable for me that they even put money in my hands as offers like they do with SAINTS ( they didn’t recognize me cause I purposely went to Khumb Mela without makeup, without shoes and wearing only a blanket ..as I lost my clothes in the MOTHER GANGA river…I wanted to enjoy my KHUMB MELA unrecognized, not with the sadhus for VIPs.. still they brought me in their car on the first day till the Sangam Holi water of Ganga river which was a very sweet gesture from them and I'm thankful to them (see my HIGHLIGHT about Khumb Mela..but then I ran away because I wanted to enjoy my KHUMB in its ✨ESSENCE ✨with those sadhus who live naked (I also live naked always in my house and on the naturist beaches ) and who have left the material world ..and that’s where the miracle happened ✨💫 I gave to my guru sadhu baba ji that money that the people seeking my blessings gave me from the heart ❤️though I told them that I don’t want anything except seeing a smile of happiness on their faces 😃but still within few seconds I got my hands full of offers that I promptly gave to #SHIVA ji and to my guru. Though I cannot be a sadhu full time, 🕰️ you guys be sure that I will keep on praying for the entire mankind ❤️because I am an ancient soul and I have met so many people on my path (154 nations visited so far, almost the entire world 🌍 ) who said that they got solutions to their lives through my words and suggestions and by vibrating with my aura 🥳. So no #AKHADA for now: I m living my #moksha on this world and I think my place for enlightening people is still on the stage👩🎤 through my 🎶 songs because I feel that in such a way my light 💡 can reach much more people at the same time!.and for those who have not yet been reached by my light ..I can still from time to time wear sadhu clothes, (no make-up and crazy messy hair 🤪😅) and go roaming the world with my small 5 kilos 🎒 backpack (which is a concentrate of #essential things)
This experience has deeply impacted me. The philosophical time with the Sadhus at the Kumbh Mela taught me that the soul is not identified by its physical form but by the light within it. When I lived among the Sadhus and saw myself without any artificiality, I found that true meditation and service can only be found in one's true form.
The more I was with the sadhus, the more I felt their simplicity and spirituality filled me with a new energy. Being there, I discovered the true happiness of life – the happiness that lies not in material things, but in soulful relationships and love.
When I met people at the fair, the expressions in their eyes were amazing. There was hope, faith, and love in their expressions. I understood that the real purpose of a Sadhu is to spread light not just for oneself but also for others. That is why I gave the money I received for my blessings to my Guru because I believe that it is only through his grace and blessings that we get real happiness in life.
I also want this experience of mine to be an inspiration for other people, so that they too understand the spirit of Sadhutva in their life and adopt it. We all have a divinity, which we need to recognize and develop. As far as my music journey is concerned, I want to reach the hearts of more people through my songs.
Now, I believe that my words and my songs will be able to spread love and positivity in the world. I may present myself as a Saint, but I also know that my place is still on the stage — where I can create a new light through my music.
This journey has taught me that the true richness of life lies in the peace and contentment of the soul. And I will move forward with this spirit, sharing my experiences and touching many hearts. 🕊️✨
