National, 23rd January 2026: As the Vedanta Udaipur World Music Festival (VUWMF) marks ten years of Music Without Borders, the festival today unveils a stellar artist line-up that promises to transform Udaipur into a truly global stage this February. Supported by Hindustan Zinc and conceptualized and produced by SEHER in collaboration with the Department of Tourism, Government of Rajasthan, the festival will take place from 6th to 8th February 2026, welcoming audiences to a celebration of sound, culture, and shared human emotion.

Celebrating a decade of bringing world music to India, this year’s line-up brings together some of the most iconic names in Indian music alongside international artists from over 10 countries, reinforcing the festival’s position as one of India’s most distinctive destination music festivals. The three-day celebration will feature 20 bands and artists, spanning genres from folk and indigenous traditions to contemporary, pop, and global fusion. Leading the line-up are legendary Indian artists and contemporary voices who together represent the depth and evolution of Indian music.Kailash Kher brings his powerful blend of folk and Sufi influences rooted in devotion and raw emotion, whileAmit Trivedi is set to deliver a high-energy, genre-defying live experience that bridges tradition with contemporary sound. Adding further richness are Jonita Gandhi, whose global appeal spans Bollywood and independent pop, Taba Chake, known for his deeply personal folk-infused songwriting, and Amrit Ramnath, celebrated for her contemporary interpretations grounded in classical training. Complementing these solo artists is a formidable band line-up led by Indian Ocean, pioneers of Indian fusion rock, alongside OAFF, one of India’s most exciting contemporary producers, bringing a fresh, modern pulse to the festival. Extending the festival’s global footprint, VUWMF 2026 will also feature an exciting international line-up, with several artists performing in India for the very first time. From Selin Sümbültepe (Turkey) and Calle Mambo (Chile) bringing rich electrifying Latin rhythms with modern beats, to Valerie Ekoumé (Cameroon) representing Afro-pop and Afro-rock influences, the festival introduces audiences to vibrant global sounds. The international roster further includes Sofiane Saidi, a widely celebrated voice in Algeria, Lucibela (Cape Verde), 9 Grader Nord (Norway), Volosi (Poland), and Flamenco Dream (Spain) a rare father-son duo whose performances capture the passing of musical legacy across generations, creating a truly cross-continental musical dialogue in the heart of Rajasthan.
Beyond its artist line-up, the Vedanta Udaipur World Music Festival is the only music festival in India curated around the three moods of the day. Morning performances at Manji Ka Ghat (9:00 AM onwards) focus on meditative sounds, followed by romantic afternoon sessions at Fateh Sagar Paal (3:30 PM onwards). The festival culminates at Gandhi Ground (6:00 PM onwards) with high-energy, contemporary performances.

As the Vedanta Udaipur World Music Festival celebrates a decade of storytelling through sound, it continues to strengthen its identity as a cultural platform where traditions meet; cultures converse, and music becomes a universal language.
