Khakee: The Bengal Chapter Trailer Launch: The Bengal Chapter was launched on Wednesday, March 5. The event saw the entire star cast of the series in attendance, including Prosenjit Chatterjee, Jeet, Chitrangada Singh, Pooja Chopra, Parambrata Chatterjee, Saswata Chatterjee, Ritwik Bhowmik, Aadil Zafar Khan, and Tanya Bami from Netflix India, along with many others involved in the series.
Chitrangada Singhโs Look
At the trailer launch event, actress Chitrangada Singh made a stunning appearance in an orange saree, looking absolutely beautiful.
Pooja Chopraโs Look
Actress Pooja Chopra chose a red short dress for the event, looking graceful and elegant.
The event began with a heartwarming moment between Ritwik Bhowmik and Aadil Zafar Khan, where the two shared some dialogues from the series. Saswata Chatterjee followed, delivering a few dialogues in Bengali. One by one, the cast members walked onto the stage, adding to the excitement of the launch.
Director Neeraj Pandey
During the trailer launch event, director Neeraj Pandey shared his personal connection with Kolkata, which played a significant role in his decision to choose the city for the series. "I was born and raised in Kolkata, and thatโs why this city was chosen for the second chapter of the series. It was a personal bias for me," he said.
He also talked about his previous films, Special 26 and M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story. When asked about the cameo of cricketer Sourav Ganguly, Neeraj Pandey smiled and said, "As for Sourav, letโs just wait and watch."
Tanya Bami from Netflix India
Tanya Bami, the series head at Netflix India, spoke about the special bond people have with the Khakee series. "The first part, Khakee: The Bihar Chapter, had such an immense connection with the audience. Iโve seen people watching it even on flights, and the story resonated with them. Khakee is very special to us, and it has been made with a lot of love and effort," she said.
Jeetโs Experience
Actor Jeet shared his experience of being part of the series, saying, "I am honored to be a part of Khakee. Bengalis are extremely proud of this series, and working with such a fantastic team has been a great experience. I hope the audience loves it."
Prosenjit Chatterjee
Legendary actor Prosenjit Chatterjee talked about how he has played a variety of roles in his career but mentioned that the character he portrays in Khakee was something entirely new for him. "Iโm very excited and happy about this role," he shared.
Chitrangada Singh

Chitrangada Singh also shared her experience, saying that many people often mistake her for being Bengali. "I havenโt shot much in Bengal, but I can never forget shooting at the Victoria Memorial," she said. She also praised the people of Bengal, highlighting their deep passion for cinema.
Ritwik Bhowmikโs Bond with Aadil Zafar Khan
Ritwik Bhowmik shared how he developed a strong bond with Aadil Zafar Khan during the shooting of the series. "We formed a unique friendship during the series, and we even sang a song about our bond during the event," he said.
Pooja Chopraโs Experience
Actress Pooja Chopra shared how much she learned from Jeet while shooting for the series. "Iโve learned a lot about life from Jeet da," she said.
Aadil Zafar Khan
Aadil Zafar Khan spoke about how he wanted to know who would play the character of Sabu when he first received the script. "When I met Ritwik, I felt a connection within 10 minutes. We had our workshops together, and by the time we were on set, we already shared a great bond. Not just Ritwik, but I had the opportunity to work with some amazing artists in this series," he said.
Parambrata Chatterjeeโs Thoughts
Parambrata Chatterjee, who has portrayed police officers in many films, expressed his excitement about being a part of Khakee: The Bengal Chapter and being associated with Netflix.
The series, directed by Debatma Mandal and Tushar Kanti Ray, will be released on Netflix on March 20, 2025.
