Sufi singer Lakhwinder Wadali enthralled the audience with his songs at the musical night held at Mangalsen Auditorium in Karnal. People were compelled to dance to the songs and music presented by Lakhwinder. A large number of people from Haryana-Punjab and surrounding areas had come to see this program. People enjoyed the program immensely. Lakhwinder Wadali has created a distinct identity for himself in Punjabi and Sufi music. From his 2004 album Bulla to his heart-touching Punjabi songs like Ishka and Rangi Gayee, Lakhwinder's songs have touched the hearts of music lovers everywhere.

The stage was moderated by Radio Jockey Rocky in his familiar style who is known for his knowledge of the subject, command over language, emotionality, body language, clarity, and fluency.

Lakhwinder Wadali: Modern Sufi Singer Continuing Family Legacy

Lakhwinder Wadali is an Indian musician and singer, who belongs to a family of musicians from Punjab, India.  His grandfather Thakur Das Wadali was a famous singer and his father and uncle formed a Sufi qawwali duo, the Wadali Brothers. Lakhwinder received extensive training and guidance in classical music from his father Puran Chand Wadali. His songs are a mix of classical and current trends in music. Their repertoire includes renditions of Sufi saints, romantic, folk numbers, ghazals, bhajans and Bhangra. Aalap and Taan are important aspects of his music. Padma Shri Puran Chand Wadali's son, Lakhwinder Wadali, is carrying forward the legacy of the Wadali Brothers with his modern Sufi songs.

The event was managed by Yogesh. Nitish Kumar, Manoj Kochhar, Jassi Wadali, Chirag, etc. were also present on this occasion.
