Born in Delhi, he began his acting journey at the young age of 20! He won the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor in 2009. His breakthrough role came in 2013 with the hit film “Fukrey”, where he played the lovable and fun-loving Sid. He was then also seen in “Fukrey Returns” (2017).
