In Bollywood industry the handsome  ‘late’ legendary modest actor Shashi Kapoor ( of yesteryears)  would introduce himself to news-media in India and to foreign-news media and say “Hi my name is Shashi,--Shashi Kapoor"

Interestingly while attending the recent Met Gala 2025 in New York,. Shah Rukh Khan ( in a viral video) can be seen approaching a journalist after walking the red carpet. The journalist asks him to introduce himself. Surprised, Shah Rukh Khan modestly replies, "Hi, I'm Shah Rukh." The person behind the camera then asks him to introduce his designer and the outfit for the night. SRK  goes on to introduce Sabyasachi and shares the inspiration behind the dazzling innovative outfit

Considering that the ‘King Khan’ was mobbed by thousands of crazy NRIs and foreign fans outside his Carlysle Hotel in New York, the ‘Pathaan’ mega-star with his royal dazzling-swag was cool, chilled out and appeared unruffled when he was asked to introduce himself. Which is exemplary for some of our stars who should learn from Shah Rukh's modesty, how not to put on a false, arrogant attitude while mingling with the news-media...

Shah Rukh Khan channeled his "King" vibes in a Sabyasachi Mukherjee ensemble for the event. The moment which became the talking point from the fashion event was that the foreign media failed to recognise Shah Rukh Khan.

When asked about making global fashion-history, as the first Indian Bollywood male star style-icon to debut at the international Met Gala, he honestly replied, “I don’t know about history, but I am nervous--- yet I am excited. Actually it is designer Sabyasachi who convinced me to come here. Actually I am also shy to be here, “joked Shah Rukh who was in a cheerful, witty mood.

Interesting to note that SRK acted in the title role of this 2010 Hindi movie ‘My Name Is Khan directed by Karan Johar opposite Kajol , where his amazing title-role screen-character which won the Filmfare Award ( Best Actor) is called Rizwan Khan !
