What’s in the Trailer?

The 1-minute-48-second trailer presents a powerful storyline. It revolves around a young woman whose life changes completely after a major decision. When Amrita reaches a difficult crossroads in life, she chooses family responsibilities over her personal happiness and her growing love for Aditya. The trailer beautifully highlights emotions of family, love, sacrifice, and patience.

Talking about the series, Sooraj Barjatya said, “Sangamarmar is a story of families we see around us. It shows how time challenges relationships and also heals them. Working with Jio Studios and Jio Hotstar has been a wonderful experience. In the series, Sheen Dass plays Amrita. Speaking about her role, she said, “The entire story revolves around Amrita, and several major decisions rest on her shoulders. What struck me most was her habit of choosing responsibility over happiness. As an actress, I found this conflict very real. Living Amrita’s journey felt like a personal experience. I had to feel her silence, compromises, and quiet strength. Working with Sooraj Barjatya was a big opportunity for me. His stories have shaped the way we look at family and relationships.”

About ‘Sangamarmar’

Directed by Vikram Ghai, the series stars Sheen Dass and Sourabh Raaj Jain in lead roles. It also features Smita Bansal, Khalid Siddiqui, Farooq Saeed, Jaya Ojha, and Avinash Wadhwani in pivotal roles. The release date has not yet been announced. The series will stream on Jio Hotstar.
