Singham A-‘Gain’ ! (hit-profit ) Diwali dhamaka ? With anticipated cameo by Salman Khan (?), Arjun K as modern-Ravana , Deepika as Lady Singham and superstars Ajay, Akshay, Ranveer, Tiger and Jackie—classy-massy mega-movie worth watching ‘Again’ ! by Chaitanya Padukone

The frenzied media-build-up and super excitement among ardent fans of action thrillers have reached a fever pitch with the super-final response release this afternoon of the bombastic explosive teaser trailer of Singham Again. Directed by ‘showman’ Rohit Shetty, the third installment in the Singham franchise promises to be bigger, bolder, more emotional,  super-classy, glossy yet more massy than ever before with its multi-starrer cast and showmanship content. The trailer launch was held at the opulent, magnificent The Grand ( Opera) Theatre at NMACC ( Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre) at BKC, Bandra East, Mumbai. This otherwise friendly-ambiance awesome glittering theater has strict, security-protocol checking, at every entry-level.

Director and stunts-action- king  Rohit Shetty has elevated the anticipation levels by assembling a star-studded cast for Singham Again. Which as evident in the trailer, also draws its modern analogy-inspiration from revered epic Ramayana where Sita-maiya is shown being 'kidnapped'  by scheming Ravana.

The mega-budget cop-universe film features an impressive ensemble line-up that includes Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor ( as modern-day Sita), Akshay (‘Sooryavanshi’) Kumar, Ranveer  ( ‘Simmba’) Singh, Deepika Padukone ( as Lady Singham) Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor (as Ravana in modern-day Ramayana)  Jackie Shroff, Ravi Kishan  and popular TV actor Dayanand Shetty the famous door-breaker macho cop of ‘CID’ fame) This ensemble cast is expected to elevate the film's appeal, making Singham Again a must-watch for fans of Indian cinema. At the trailer launch each of the artistes ( except Deepika Padukone who has delivered a baby-girl a month ago) shared their fond or funny or dream-come-true sentiments about working with Rohit Shetty or the senior co-stars. 

Considered a trend-setter move for Hindi cinema, the gripping high-octane action-packed trailer for Singham Again will perhaps be the longest ever released, clocking in at almost five minutes. This extended tantalizing trailer provides fans with a thrilling glimpse into the film's action-packed sequences and character dynamics and emotional and religious-mytho-sentiments. Prospective theater audiences and digital trailer viewers are amazed to watch an adrenaline-fuelled showcase that highlights both action, emotions, drama, and powerful dialogue.

Adding to the cine-trade whispers surrounding Singham Again, speculative reports insist that Salman Khan will make a cameo appearance in a striking reprisal of his iconic role as exuberant police officer Chulbul Pandey. This surprise twist-element has heightened excitement levels among fans who are thrilled to see how these lead characters have cross-connections within Shetty’s engaging expansive cop universe Singham Again which releases on Diwali Lakshmi Pujan Day ( November 1st, 2024). 

Incidentally, Singham Again will be clashing with horror-comedy multi-starrer T-Series production Bhool Bhulaiyaa-3 directed by Anees Bazmee also releasing on the same day.

It was wonderful speaking to unassuming Ms. Jyoti Deshpande  (Jio Studios) co-producer of ‘Singham Again’, who earlier predicted on stage in the presence of the cast and director Rohit Shetty that ‘Singham Again’ would hit the ball ( super-sixer) straight out of the box-office stadium ! That's because in Singham Again--there is the A-Gain in the movie title, which implies Gain (profit) and Again implies re-watch value !!
