Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali's first streaming series, period drama Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, premiered on Netflix on May 1. The series was a topic of discussion even before its release, and even after the release of the series, all the actors shared stories related to the shooting of it. Since then, discussions about it have intensified and people are sharing different views on the show.

There was no need for a retake

Recently, actor Indresh Malik talked about an intimate scene with Jason Shah for the show. “The scene did not require many retakes, which was satisfactory because Sanjay sir does not rest until he achieves what he wants, he is a perfectionist although I was nervous about that scene because it involved a man shown close to another man, Jason and I already discussed it for about an hour and then went with the flow”

The actress's mother was present

Actor Indresh Malik reflected on filming an intimate scene with co-star Jason Shah for Heeramandi, highlighting director Sanjay Leela Bhansali's meticulous approach to filmmaking.

Apart from this, he also remembered an incident related to Sonakshi Sinha, with whom he had shared many scenes, “During one scene, Sonakshi ji had to hold my head with her feet. Her mother Poonam Sinha Ji was also present, which made me feel a little better. However, Sonakshi reassured me, she told me not to be conscious, asked me to relax, made me comfortable, and said she would do the needful. I have very fond memories from the sets of the show."
