The prayer meet for Neha’s father, Rakesh Chandra Swami, was held in Mumbai, where the couple appeared emotional yet composed. During the prayer meet, Arjun Bijlani was seen in a simple and understated look, wearing a white shirt paired with dark trousers. Neha Swami appeared in an all-white suit, without makeup, and with tearful eyes. Her appearance clearly reflected the depth of her loss.
The prayer meeting took place a few days after the sudden tragedy that shook the entire family. Arjun and Neha were in Dubai with their son Ayaan (Ayaan) to celebrate the New Year when Neha’s father’s health suddenly deteriorated. Upon receiving news of the medical emergency, the couple immediately rushed back to Mumbai. Rakesh Chandra Swami passed away on January 1.

Several close friends and colleagues from the television industry arrived to offer condolences at the prayer meet.

Actress Mouni Roy was seen in a simple and elegant look, dressed in a light-colored outfit. Without any display of glamour, she went straight to Neha to console her and pay her respects.

Actress Ankita Lokhande attended the prayer meet along with her husband, Vicky Jain. Ankita was dressed in a white suit, while Vicky opted for a simple kurta. The couple expressed their heartfelt condolences to Arjun and Neha, reflecting the strong personal bonds the couple shares within the industry.
Apart from them, actor-producer Ravi Dubey, Bigg Boss winner Sana Makbul, singer Ankit Tiwari, Isha Singh, Ridhima Pandit, Aamir Ali Malik, Kanika Mann, Chetna Pande, Isha Malviya, Roshni Walia, and Shefali Bagga were also present, along with several members of the entertainment fraternity and family.
Most attendees were dressed in white as a mark of respect and paid their tributes to the departed soul. The atmosphere was deeply emotional, with everyone maintaining silence and dignity throughout the gathering.
Throughout the ceremony, Arjun and Neha maintained a low profile. They remained focused on prayers and rituals and avoided media interactions. While leaving the venue, the couple briefly acknowledged the photographers with folded hands before quietly departing.
Passed Away After Critical ICU Battle
Rakesh Chandra Swami, aged 73, passed away after battling a critical condition in the ICU for several days. According to family members, the incident was completely unexpected. He was reportedly fit and fine until Monday evening and was about to sit down for dinner when he suddenly suffered a stroke. He was immediately rushed to Bellevue Hospital, where he was placed on a ventilator. Despite the doctors’ best efforts, he could not be saved.
Earlier, during the last rites, Arjun Bijlani was seen consoling his young son Ayaan, while Neha appeared visibly shattered by the loss. Close family friend and actress Nia Sharma (Nia Sharma) was also present at the cremation ground to stand by the grieving family.
