Vicky & Rashmika Promote ‘Chhaava’ Ahead of Feb 14 Release
Vicky appeared in a yellow kurta-pajama, exuding simplicity, while Rashmika dazzled in an orange-colored suit and large earrings, giving off a pure yet elegant vibe. What stood out most was that Rashmika was on her feet this time—no longer in a wheelchair.
As they took the stage, Vicky and Rashmika led the crowd in chanting "Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj," "Jai Bhavani," and "Har Har Mahadev." The duo also launched the poster for Chhaava and announced that the worldwide advance bookings for the film were now open. Vicky encouraged everyone to join them in celebrating Chhaava Divas on February 14 by watching the film in theaters.
Rashmika shared her excitement, saying, "I’m very excited about Chhaava. It’s releasing on February 14, so make sure to come and watch it!"
Vicky, who portrays the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj in the film, mentioned that while Sambhaji Maharaj is well-known in Maharashtra, through this film, they hope to introduce him to audiences across the nation. He said, "I’m very happy to be playing this role. I want to thank director Laxman Utekar for offering me this role."
During the event, Vicky also delivered one of the film's powerful dialogues: "The lion may not be here, but Chhaava still roams the jungle. We don’t make noise; we make our moves directly."
On this occasion, Vicky also recited some lines from the film. He said, "sher bhale hee chala gaya ho, lekin chhaava abhee bhee jangal mein ghoomata hai. Hum shor nahi karte, seedha shikar karte hain."
Chhaava will hit theaters on February 14, with Rashmika portraying Yesubai. The film is directed by Laxman Utekar, produced by Maddock Films, and its international distribution is handled by Yash Raj Films.
