Why glam singer-actress Sona Medhi of DKS pure-romance viral video- 'Dil Me Utarne Lage Ho', does ‘not’ believe in love-at-first-sight ? by Chaitanya Padukone

Amazing glam-singer-actress Sona Medhi is the latest talent addition to the world Bollywood and music-biz Ever since the lyrical music-video international-look album titled Dil Me Utarne Lage Ho has been launched by producer Deependra Kumar Sharma on prestigious Ramji Gulati channel under DKS Productions banner, there has been a phenomenal response from digital viewers. Besides capturing the awesome grandeur of Dubai locations, the elite cars and yachts, the catchy lyrics and tune, the video has winsome Sona Medhi’s tantalizing presence and vibrant vocals. Which have all have grabbed the attention of lakhs of viewers While the melodious duet has been sung by Abhay Jodhpurkar and Sona Medhi, the video also features co-star Vishal Pandey. Its directed by famous Ramji Gulati--- who has to his credit numerous successful music-videos . The song has been composed by music composer Aashiq Elahi who is known for his striking talent.

Slim petite academically highly-educated singer-model-actress Sona Medhi ( who hails from Assam) has shifted base to Mumbai since past eight years .She is frank  enough to share that she “am a passionate singer and have sing quite often in Church choirs . But I had never dreamt of facing the camera as a model-actress”. . At the same time she  is honest enough to share that it’s all thanks to her good friend producer Deependra Kumar Sharma that got her debut- break both as a singer actress. “ Initially I was slightly nervous regarding first-time acting on camera. But since I had to ‘lip-sync’ my own-voice with sentimental expressions, I managed to give my best shots and we finished the video-shoot in one-day,” reveals Sona whose dream is to record ‘play-back’ voice song for iconic star-actress Priyanka Chopra, who is also the cultural ambassador of her home State of Assam.   

Although  this DKS video deals with pure romance climaxing with a marriage proposal, does Sona says she does ‘not’ believe in ‘love-at-first-sight’. She clarifies with, “True love needs  to steadily grow over time after multiple meeting-dating sessions and getting to know each other well.  Its certainly  not like having an instant coffee,” smiles practical Sona who speaks fluent Hindi.and  dreams  to sing someday a romantic-duet with Arijit Singh and also with Papon

Producer Deependra Kumar Sharma is an innovative fashion designer .and  is practical enough to make a modest beginning with this  music video . Later on, Deependra proposes to produce more music-videos, web series as also films..Shares ambitious Deependra “Since I have versatile creativity , my priority is to make my banner DKS a leading production house and also dabble in direction. In the past I  had worked with YRF films as well as styled several celebs like late icon Sridevi and ‘Dangal’ girl Sanya Malhotra. A friend of mine has brought this lyrical song to me and I found it to be very appealing with elements of pure love-romance.. Since photogenic Sona Mehdi  who has been my good friend for a long time, I was aware she had a good resonating voice. We also motivated her to also play the lover-girl model, in pure-mellow-romance video Dil Me Utarne Lage Ho-- instead of getting a separate known actress,” .discloses the DKS creative top-boss.
