Recently, journalist Shilpa Patil from MayaPuri interviewed Aan Tiwari, and in this interview, Aan spoke about his character, his co-stars, and his experience working on the show. Let’s take a look at what he had to say.
How did you get connected to this show? How were you selected? Can you tell us more about it?
Aan Tiwari: I don’t know much about it; everything was managed by my mom. As far as I know, I got connected to this show through social media. And yes, my sister is also in the TV industry.
How happy were you when you got this show? What was your reaction?
Aan Tiwari: When I got the show, the first thing my mom did was tell my dad, aunt, and sister. After that, when I found out, I was really happy. When I came to the set for the script reading, Anmol sir told me that I could do anything I wanted, and this was said about my acting.
When we saw you, you were holding a mace and walking in front of elephants. How do you manage to do all of this?
Aan Tiwari: When you have to play a character, you have to live that character. You need to understand the story behind that character. It’s a whole thought process, and you have to immerse yourself in the character completely.
You’re working with Sayli, Arav, and Mahir on this show. How was your shooting experience with them? What’s your bond with them like?
Aan Tiwari: My bond with them is really good. They are all very caring. Mahir sir always says, “When you come, we’ll play cricket.” Whenever we get time on set, we all play cricket together.
Q: We saw that when you made your entry, everyone seemed really happy. How did that make you feel?
Aan Tiwari: I didn’t get to see myself too much, as it was my entry, but the feeling was amazing. My mom was in tears when she saw me on screen.
How do you manage your studies?
Aan Tiwari: My mom helps me with my studies. My mom and dad always say, "Whatever you do, but you must study. You need to become an engineer or something else, but don’t stop studying."
Finally, Aan Tiwari shared, “I would like to tell my audience to watch our show Veer Hanuman, starting 11th March at 7:30 PM on Sony Sab, so that we can perform even better in our roles."
