Karan Veer Mehra recently sat down for an interview with the media, where he discussed his journey inside the Bigg Boss house. He also mentioned that after Bigg Boss, he collaborated with his friend Rajat's friend, Elvish, on a podcast. During the interview, he answered questions about winning the show and shared his thoughts on the relationships he built during his time in the house. Here's what he had to say.

  • How are you feeling after winning Bigg Boss?

"I feel very strong right now. Honestly, I've received so much love. The peaceful sleep I got inside the Bigg Boss house... I don't think I'll ever sleep like that again. Away from phones, away from everything. Now, I realize that this isn't normal life. That was my normal life—where the whole world was watching me inside the Bigg Boss house."

  • You made many new relationships inside Bigg Boss. When are you meeting them again?

"I'm going to meet them very soon. But I really miss the house. I'll never experience that again. Whether it was the open gym or the pool, where in Mumbai do you find all that? No matter how much I earn in life, I'll never have that again."

  • Some people aren't accepting your win, saying you're not deserving of the trophy. What would you like to say about that?

"The biggest disease is, 'What will people say?' Some people believe talent doesn't matter. A few even said that I bought the media. I'm not rich enough to buy the media. And if that were true, the world would have seen me on camera no matter what I did. People will take time to understand that."

  • After the show, some say Vivian was more deserving. Does that make you feel like the win is incomplete? Does it affect you?

"Let them say what they want! That's their job. My job was to bring the trophy home, which I did. Now, tell me, which trophy should I go for next?"

  • Everyone was surprised when you appeared on Elvish's podcast, especially after he had talked about giving away 150 iPhones for his friend. What do you think about that?

"Yes, exactly! That's why I wanted to be there. When I went, we cut a cake and celebrated my win. He looked at the trophy, picked it up, and ran to Rajat. Just because you lose a game doesn't mean you're a loser. Life moves on. Bigg Boss taught us the philosophy of how you take things, how you react—that's in your hands. Elvish is a very interesting person. He invited me for an interview, and it was a lot of fun. We had a great time and sent a good message about friendship."

  • What did you learn from your Bigg Boss journey that you didn't know about yourself before?

"The most special moments for me in Bigg Boss were when I understood my own feelings. I never thought I could cry, but when certain moments came up inside the house, I realized I have an emotional side. I'm both happy and surprised by it."

Before becoming the winner of Bigg Boss, Karan Veer Mehra was also the winner of Khatron Ke Khiladi 14.
