Chandni Sharma Unveils Insights into Her Character in 'Jhanak'

Tell us something about how you became a part of this show.

I got a call for this character of Arshi, and my manager who looks after my work approached me, then I heard about this character, heard the story of the show and I liked it so I said yes.

The kind of look you are seen in for this character, we have not seen you in such a look before. What would you like to say about this look?

I have played different characters in every show and my look always looks different. Although our industry is very big the circle is very small, whenever I do a new show and even if people from old shows are working on it, they never recognize me that I am the same girl. If I talk about the look, this look is very different from all the other shows I have done. I like this look very much.

Tell us something about the character of Arshi, and how is the equation with the other characters.

Arshi Mukherjee is a resident of Kolkata. His mother is from Kashmir. She is very fond of dance and is a celebrity dancer in Kolkata, and her mother was also a celebrity dancer. She is a modern girl and loves her future husband Anirudh very much. Anirudh is a very good boy, exactly like a mother wants a son and a wife wants a husband, Anirudh is exactly the kind of boy. Jhanak is a very innocent girl from Kashmir, who has never stepped out of her city.

How is your off-screen bonding with other actors?

There is very good bonding. To be honest, I have good bonding on every set. I make lots of friends. Here too I have a very good bond with Hiba. I go to her room and she comes to mine whenever we want to have fun. We all eat together during lunch break. Everyone has a lot of fun together and also teases each other.

What would you like to say to your fans?

Every character of mine has received a lot of love, and I want Arshi Mukherjee to get even more love. Whatever I am today, I am because of my fans. Keep your love and blessings on me like this. Thank you all very much for supporting me in my journey.
