Karuna Pandey shares her experience on 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa'

Karuna Pandey is known for the serials 'Pushpa Impossible' (2022), 'Devanshi' (2016), and the film 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' (2015), currently, she is working on the serial 'Pushpa Impossible as well as Sony TV's Dance. She is also a contestant on the reality show 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa'. Karuna Pandey shared about the difficulties of being a part of a reality show while doing a TV show.

Balancing Acts: Lead Show & Reality Journey

Along with being a lead show, you are also doing a reality show. How do you manage your time? And how was the experience of doing ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’?

I would like to thank JD Majethia, producer of 'Pushpa Impossible', for time management and would like to thank Sony Channel for giving me the opportunity. No producer in this industry would agree to let the lead of his show do something else. But our producer said it because he believed in my energy. It is natural for a person to get tired but there is a spirit within me that I will do it and other people have faith in me that I will do it. I am working hard and will continue to do so. This week I was a little unwell but I have to work hard so that I can stay in the competition, and I will keep working hard and try to go further.

How has been your experience working with the judges of ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’?

It has been a very good experience. Farah Khan ma'am is very sweet and honest. Whatever is in his heart is also on his tongue. She is very cheerful, whenever she is on the set, it feels like there is someone older who will guide us. Dancing in front of Farah Khan is huge, her reviews are always right, she never says anything wrong, and she always speaks for our welfare. She is a very good person and I like her very much. Arshad sir is very sweet. More than the technical things, they look at the feeling of dance and who is dancing with so much heart. Arshad sir is very funny, his one-liners are very funny. It is a great thing for a person to have the ability to make someone laugh, and that is why I like him very much. Malaika ma'am is also very nice, it feels great to have got a chance to know her through this show. Malaika Ma'am is a very pure-hearted person. She has a feeling of spontaneity towards everyone and looks at everyone with great love. Malaika Ma'am's goodness is reflected in her personality. Our three judges are very good and judge very well. I think all the contestants of 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa' love him very much.

You have a very good tuning with your choreographer Vivek Chachere. Vivek is a very talented dancer. How was the experience of working with him?

Vivek Chachere is a very amazing choreographer, his energy, his mind, and his heart are all very good. I always speak in the show and now everyone knows that I am very much in love with Vivek Chachere, and this thing is brought up again and again in the show. He has a heart of gold, he is a very good person. I am very attracted to nice people, and I get attached to such people very quickly. He certainly has talent but he is so good that it didn't take me even a day to connect with him. Vivek ji's team includes Sagar, Nisha, Hrishikesh, and Ishu and all of them have now become like my family. Everyone teaches very well, and Vivek is very close to my heart, he has now become a friend forever. To become so attached to someone in just three months means that those people are very good. I get emotional seeing them dancing. Vivek is as good a choreographer as he is a good performer. I pray to God that he should reach great heights and his talent should be seen by the whole world. Vivek is a very amazing person and his team is also very good.

What would you like to say to the fans?

I want to thank all the viewers of Jhalak for taking me here. I have come to the bottom twice due to a lack of votes, so please don't let this happen. Keep your love for me like this, I am working very hard. I shoot for this show for 12 hours and then travel and rehearse for Jhalak, I even get very little time to sleep. I am not saying that what I am doing is anything big but if you like my performance then please vote. Only your vote can take me to the finals, and I very much want to go to the finals, because what would be the fun if I don't go to the finals even after so much hard work? Please vote.
