Sachin Parikh’s Daughter Drashta Visits Vasudha Sets: The Duo Talks Bonding, Fan Love & Upcoming Twists

The TV show Vasudha has become a fan favourite. Along with the gripping storyline, the on-screen and off-screen bonding of the actors is also receiving a lot of appreciation. Recently, actor Sachin Parikh’s daughter Drashta Parikh visited the set. During this visit, Mayapuri journalist Shilpa Nalamwar interacted with Sachin and Drashta. Your daughter Drashta, is here with you on the set today. What would you like to say about that?

Sachin: “Drashta came to the set today, and honestly, her presence changes the entire energy of the place.”

Would you like to play Prabhat Singh Chauhan’s daughter on the show?

Drashta: “Yes, why not! Because Prabhat uncle and Papa are very similar. The bond Avinash Dev has with him on-screen is exactly the kind of bond I share with my dad. We’re like best friends.”

How do you define your relationship with Drashta?

Sachin: “Our relationship is like that of friends. Drashta doesn’t hide anything from me. No matter what happens, she comes to me first. With her mother, she shares a ‘Tom and Jerry’ bond— they argue, but they can’t stay without each other.”

Who is your favourite character in Vasudha?

Drashta: “I like everyone… but if I have to pick one—it’s Divya! I love her acting, her expressions—everything.”

Do you ask your father about the upcoming twists in the story?

Drashta: “No! I never ask. Even if Papa starts telling me something, I stop him and say, ‘Please don’t! I want to find out by watching the episode.’”

Your dance reels with Sachin are going viral. What would you like to say about that?

Sachin: “All the credit goes to Drashta. She makes me rehearse a lot. Taking 12–15 takes is normal. And if I don’t do it well, she straight up says, ‘Okay, now I’m cutting your shot.’”
Drashta: “Papa works hard, but teaching him steps takes a little time… still, it’s super fun!”

How important is social media today?

Sachin: “Very important. In our time, we didn’t even have photos. Now, connecting with fans is so easy. Even during hectic shoots, we take out time to make reels together—these moments bring us a different kind of happiness.”

What can fans expect next in Vasudha?

Sachin: “Chandrika is quite upset right now, and it won’t be easy to convince her. But ahead, emotions, twists—everything is going to get more intense.”
Drashta: “Lots of twists and tons of drama! I follow the show daily and I’m hoping Vasu and Dev return home soon.”

Sachin: “Just keep showering your love. We will continue giving our best. As Drashta said—expect more drama, emotions, and surprises!”
