Sony SAB is bringing an extraordinary new show to its audience based on the life of Lord Hanuman. The show highlights the journey of young Maruti (young Hanuman), showcasing how he embarks on a quest to discover his true purpose and prepares himself for his divine future. The show is produced by Swastik Productions, known for creating other mythological shows like Shiv Shakti: Tap Tyaag Taandav, Mahabharat, Shreemad Ramayan, Suryaputra Karn and Karmaphal Daata Shani.
The first episode of the show was shot on Tuesday, March 4, with the star cast including Aan Tiwari, Arav Chowdhary, and Sayali Salunke. During the shoot, the founder of Swastik Productions, Siddharth Kumar Tewary, spoke about the reasons behind creating this show.
In Veer Hanuman, Aan Tiwari will portray the role of young Hanuman, Sayali Salunke will play Anjani, and Arav Chowdhary will be seen as Kesari. Additionally, TV actor Mahir Pandhi will play a dual role as Bali and Sugriva.
The Grand First Episode
The grandeur of the first episode was truly breathtaking. During the shoot, dancers presented a beautiful dance performance. Young Maruti, played by Aan Tiwari, was welcomed with flowers, along with his parents Kesari and Anjani, portrayed by Arav Chowdhary and Sayali Salunke.
Siddharth Kumar Tewary
During the event, Siddharth Kumar Tewary, the founder of Swastik Productions, shared his vision for the show. "Through this show and its story, I want to pass on our history to the coming generations," he said. "This is a show you should watch with your family at home. It portrays courage and honesty, and through it, I want to share our history and values with the children of our country."
He added, "Just as our elders have the right to learn about our culture, our country’s children also have the right to know about it." He further elaborated on the importance of presenting stories in a modern context, saying, "We are bringing Hanuman Ji's story to the audience using modern music and technology. The way we tell a story and present it is very important, and we’ve done exactly that with Veer Hanuman. When you watch the first episode, you’ll understand it even better."
This devotional and heartfelt show will premiere on Sony SAB on March 11 and will air every Monday to Saturday at 7:30 PM.
