Now, the All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) has issued a press statement urging strict action against the two.

All Indian Cine Workers Association ordered to ban the show

Let us tell you that the All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) wrote on its official X account: "All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) strongly condemns the reprehensible and objectionable comments made on the YouTube show "India's Got Latent" hosted by Samay Raina. In a recent episode, Ranveer Allahbadia, who participated in the show, made disgusting and vile statements that are extremely offensive to our social and family values. In its statement, the All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) further wrote, "AICWA categorically condemns such disgusting shows and will never support them. Our industry has always stood against content that promotes disrespect and undermines social harmony. Representing the entire Indian film industry, AICWA officially boycotts "India's Got Latent". We urge all actors, filmmakers, directors and technicians to immediately stop any association with the individuals involved in the show, including hosts Samay Raina and Ranveer Allahbadia. Ranveer Allahabadia asked an inappropriate question to a contestant, which created a controversy on social media. The YouTuber was trolled on X for his inappropriate questions. The YouTuber asked the contestant, would you like to see your parents having sex every day for the rest of your life or would you like to engage in it once and stop it forever? At the same time, Ranveer Allahabadia is also being trolled a lot on social media. 

Ranveer Allahabadia apologized

Now Ranveer Allahabadia has apologized on social media. In a video shared on social media, Ranveer Allahabadia said, "I should not have said what I said on India's Got Lalent. I am sorry. My comment was not only inappropriate, but it was not funny either. Comedy is not my specialty. I have come here only to apologize. Many of you asked if I wanted to use my platform like this and obviously, I do not want to use it like this. I am not going to give any context, justification or logic behind what happened.
