Akshay Kumar on Doing Many Films: ‘If I’m Getting Work, I’ll Definitely Do It’

Famous Bollywood star Akshay Kumar is known for doing back-to-back films. Many of these films flop, while some are successful, for which the actor has to face a lot of criticism. Now, Akshay Kumar has talked about the criticism he gets for doing many films in a year. 

Akshay Kumar broke his silence on doing 4 films in a year

In fact, in a recent interview, Akshay Kumar talked about the criticism he is facing for doing multiple films in a year and said, "I like it. I enjoy playing different characters, and why not? Some people complain that I do four films a year, but I don't see any reason why I shouldn't do it. If I am getting work, I will definitely do it. Some films work and some don't. A person has to work every day and go to the office. He cannot sit at home and say, 'Now I will stop for a while'. I want to work. Since I do 4 films, I want to play different characters, and this gives me a lot of happiness".

Akshay Kumar is happy with C. Shankaran Nair's story

Continuing his talk, Akshay Kumar further said, "I want to try to play those characters. I want to work with so many directors and tell stories that have not been told before. I am very happy that I got a chance to tell the story of C. Shankaran Nair. Before that, there were films like Sky Force, Sarfira and many more. I always try to get as close as possible".

Akshay Kumar was seen in Housefull 5 

Talking about the work front, Akshay Kumar was recently seen in the comedy thriller Housefull 5, which featured actors like Abhishek Bachchan, Ritesh Deshmukh, Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Chitrangada Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Shreyas Talpade, Nana Patekar, Jackie Shroff, Dino Morea, Soundarya Sharma, Chunky Pandey, Nikitin Dheer and Johnny Lever. The total collection of this film in India has reached Rs 162.15 crore.
