Anupam Kher Reveals Why He Does Not Own A House:Anupam Kher is one of the most loved actors in the industry. The actor has worked in more than 500 films in his 40-year career, but the veteran actor has still not bought his own house. The reason for the actor not buying a house was not financial constraints but something else. Now Anupam Kher has revealed the real reason for living in a rented apartment.
Anupam Kher told the reason for living in a rented apartment
Actually, in his latest interview, Anupam Kher talked about his decision to live in a rented apartment. The actor said, "Gautam Buddha also gave up all his wealth and comforts to live a simple life. You only need a few things in life. A house to live in, a car, and one or two people to work with. A home is a home. It doesn't matter whether you rent it or own it. I am ambitious in the sense that I want my films to do well, but that's a different matter. But I don't think that just because I am rich I have to buy a big house or eat silver roti and gold food".
'There is less controversy in sharing money'- Anupam Kher
Continuing his talk, Anupam Kher further said, "When a person passes away or dies, there is a possibility of some dispute over the property left by him. There is less dispute in distributing money. I have seen and talked to elderly people, and their stories are very painful. Someone has been thrown out of the house by his son. Someone is being forced to sign over his property. Such talks and discussions do not happen in my house". The actor said that he wanted to avoid any family disputes after his death, so he decided not to keep the property.
Anupam Kher was seen in 'Tanvi the Great'
Talking about the work front, Anupam Kher recently returned with his second directorial film 'Tanvi the Great'. In this thrilling drama, the actor plays Colonel Pratap Raina, while Shubhangi Dutt has impressed the fans in the lead role. Ian Glenn has joined the cast as Michael Simmons, while Boman Irani and Jackie Shroff are seen playing the roles of Raja Saheb and Brigadier Joshi, respectively. Additional cast includes Arvind Swami as Major Srinivasan, Pallavi Joshi as Vidya Raina, Karan Tacker as Captain Samar Raina, Nasser as Brigadier KN Rao and Joanna Ashka as Joanna Siosek. The film 'Tanvi the Great' collected 2.34 crores.
