The incident occurred on Sunday, August 1, in Vancouver, Canada, and was reportedly claimed by Rohit Godara, a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. AP Dhillon has now spoken out about the shooting outside his Canadian residence.

Just hours after the alleged shooting outside his home in Vancouver, AP Dhillon took to Instagram to share his feelings with his fans. He posted on his Instagram story, saying, "I am safe. My people are safe. Thank you to everyone who reached out to help. Your support means everything. Peace and love to all." Reports suggest that jailed gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Rohit Godara took responsibility for the shooting.

Following this, AP Dhillon shared a video on Instagram Reels set to his song Sweet Flower. In the caption, he wrote, "Keep spreading love." Fans responded with relief and support, with one commenting, "I'm glad you're safe," and another writing, "Stay safe, brother." One fan added, "Thank God he's safe, @apdhillon take care of yourself."

AP Dhillon Faces Threats Amid Viral Video of Shooting Incident

Famous for his songs like Brown Munde, Excuses, Summer High, With You, and Dil Nu, AP Dhillon resides on Victoria Island in British Columbia. According to viral threats circulating online, the gang allegedly planned two shootings on the night of September 1—one on Victoria Island and the other in Woodbridge, Toronto. AP Dhillon was also threatened, with references to his alleged connections to Salman Khan. The threats warned him to "stay within his limits," or face dire consequences. A viral video showed a man firing multiple shots outside a house at night, although the location remains unconfirmed.

In July, Salman Khan mentioned Lawrence Bishnoi and his brother Anmol Bishnoi in a charge sheet filed by Mumbai Police regarding a shooting incident outside his home. Salman stated, "I believe Lawrence Bishnoi carried out the shooting with the help of his gang members while my family members were sleeping. They were planning to kill me and my family." He also told the police that his family had received several other threats over the years.
