Ayushmann Khurrana's wife Tahira Kashyap Opens Up on Struggles, Says ‘I Bore Expenses After Our Marriage’

Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana and filmmaker Tahira Kashyap are two of the industry's favorite couples. The couple has been married for 17 years, and during this time, they have seen many ups and downs. Recently, in an interview, Tahira (Ayushmann Khurrana's Wife) said that she was devastated when her savings were exhausted within a year of marriage, while Ayushmann was not even aware of this.

'My bank balance is zero'- Tahira Kashyap

Actually, Tahira Kashyap told about the early days of her married life during a recent conversation. Tahira shared, "I had spent some money on my wedding, but I had my own savings. But, I did not have a job in Mumbai. This boy did not understand how we were eating food, how we were buying vegetables, fruits. My bank balance was running out. I never asked for money from anyone, not even my parents. I have always been financially independent, but now everything is messed up because it has been a year, and my bank balance is zero".

When Tahira cried in front of Ayushmann

Tahira Kashyap shared a story about Ayushmann asking her why she didn't bring mangoes, a question that made her very upset. "I was very angry because he didn't notice that I wasn't eating mangoes for two days so that he could eat. He asked, 'What's the problem?' and I just started crying. I asked, 'How do you think we are going to buy groceries?' He said, 'Oh yes'. I said, 'My bank balance is zero. It's been 7-8 months and I'm trying to figure out a job, and we are only spending our savings," she added.

Ayushmann had asked this question to Tahira

Tahira further revealed that it was at that moment that Ayushmann realised and questioned 'Why didn't you ask me for money?' I said, 'Because I can't. You should go shopping for groceries with me.' By then, he had become a VJ, so his journey had begun."
