Cannes 2025: Cannes Film Festival 2025 is in the news this time. Where many famous stars are spreading their charm on the red carpet. On Monday, 19 May 2025, veteran actresses Sharmila Tagore and  Simi Garewal attended the festival, where they arrived for the screening of Satyajit Ray's classic film 'Aranyer Din Ratri '. The presence of both actresses added a different excitement to the festival.

She was seen spreading her beauty on the red carpet in the saree. Simi Grewal, who attended Cannes for the first time, was seen in a beautiful ivory dress. During this time, she was seen in a white colored gown as usual.

The film 'Aranyer Din Ratri' was released in 1970

'Aranyer Din Ratri' is a 1970 Bengali language adventure drama film by Satyajit Ray, based on Sunil Gangopadhyay's novel of the same name. It uses the literary technique of carnival. The film was nominated for the Golden Bear Award for Best Film at the 20th Berlin International Film Festival.

The festival will run till May 24

The Cannes Film Festival 2025 began on May 13. In the last six days, many Indian stars like Urvashi Rautela and Jacqueline Fernandez walked the red carpet and spread their beauty. This year is special for many like Ishaan Khattar and Janhvi Kapoor as they will debut at Cannes. The film festival will conclude on May 24.
