FIR Filed Against Vijay Deverakonda: Actor Vijay Deverakonda is once again in the news. The actor has been embroiled in controversy after his comments about the tribal community during the pre-release event of the film Retro on April 26 in Hyderabad. Now, a police complaint (Complaint Against Vijay Deverakonda) has been filed against the actor for allegedly making derogatory remarks against tribal people.

Let us tell you that Hyderabad-based lawyer Lal Chauhan has filed a complaint against Vijay Deverakonda for the comments made by him during the pre-release event of Surya starrer film Retro. Along with this, tribal associations have demanded an immediate apology from the actor. While filing his complaint, Chauhan said, "This is not just a matter of freedom of expression. It is a matter of respect and constitutional protection of marginalized communities. We demand immediate legal action against the actor under Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe Atrocities Laws".

Not only this, lawyer Lal Chauhan, while filing his complaint, said that Vijay Deverakonda made this comment in the presence of mainstream electronic and print media and it was widely streamed online. Along with this, the complainant also submitted screenshots and links of the video titled 'Vijay Deverakonda Commanding Speech About Pakistan Terrorist at Retro Event / Surya / Sahithi TV', which was uploaded on Maa TV Films YouTube channel and is part of the complaint that is going viral.

For your information, let us tell you that during the pre-release event of Surya starrer Retro, Vijay Deverakonda while talking about the Pahalgam incident in Kashmir had said, "The solution to what is happening in Kashmir is to educate them (terrorists) and ensure that they are not brainwashed. What will they achieve? Kashmir belongs to India and Kashmiris are ours. India does not even need to attack Pakistan because Pakistanis themselves are fed up with their government and if this continues, they will attack them. They behave like tribals 500 years ago, fighting without any sense".
28 people killed in terrorist attack
On April 22, 28 people were killed and many others injured in a terrorist attack on tourists at a grassy field in Pahalgam, Kashmir. Since then, many celebrities have condemned the attack and urged the government to take strict action against terrorists. In his speech, Vijay recalled his visit to Pahalgam two years ago during the shooting of Kushi.
