Apoorva Makhija recalls the rape threats her mother received
In fact, Apoorva Makhija recently appeared on Yuva's recent podcast, where she admitted that she had never been subjected to so much hate. In the podcast, Apoorva revealed that her mother's Instagram account was public, so she also received a lot of rape threats. The influencer said, "A lot happened. People found out about my parents' account. My mother's account was public. When all this was happening, for the first two days I kept thinking about myself. I didn't think about my parents. I didn't know what was happening at home. My mother received a lot of R words and rape threats, abuse. I didn't know until three days later, I called my brother and asked, 'Is everything okay at home?' He told me, 'Mummy's BP is 180 x 120'. He told me everything about the comments".
Apoorva Makhija made her father's worst nightmare come true
Continuing her talk, Apurva Makhija recalled how the controversy made her parents' worst nightmares come true. The influencer shared, "My dad always used to say 'respect should prevail in society'. I felt like he lost everything in a second and I made him go through it all. There is light at the end of the tunnel, you just have to fight for it. Everything he feared came true. I made him go through it all. My parents have not complained even once. I went home for 15 days, I cried for 15 days. They always told me it will pass. Nothing will happen."
Ranveer Allahbadia Controversy
For your information, Ranveer Allahabadia asked an inappropriate question to a contestant on Samay Raina's show India's Got Latent, which led to a controversy on social media. The YouTuber was trolled on X for his inappropriate questions. Apoorva Mukhija and Ashish Chanchlani were also involved in this controversy. On the show, Ranveer asked a contestant, "Would you prefer to watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or engage in it once to stop it forever?" The controversy escalated further when the National Commission for Women (NCW) intervened, and Ranveer was forced to issue a written apology. The Supreme Court later granted him interim protection from arrest, but called his remarks "obscene" and accused him of having a "dirty mind" which shamed society.
