Let us tell you that Abhishek Bachchan has officially announced his upcoming film 'Kalidhar Lapata'. On June 19, the makers shared the poster of the film on social media. In the poster, Abhishek Bachchan and a child are seen sitting on a tree branch. Sharing this post, the makers wrote, "Full stop to discussions now! Sometimes, getting lost is not a detour, but this is where the real story begins. Full of dreams, twists and people who make it worthwhile. Kalidhar Lapata premieres on July 4, only on #ZEE5".

The story of 'Kalidhar Lapata' revolves around Kalidhar, an old man who decides to run away after learning about his family's intention to abandon him. As he struggles with his sense of purpose and loneliness, his path unexpectedly crosses with Ballu, a vivacious eight-year-old orphan full of enthusiasm and curiosity. Their chance meeting turns into an extraordinary friendship as they embark on an unplanned road trip, fulfilling a whimsical bucket list and finding joy in life's simple moments.
