Kalki 2898 AD Producer Responds to Arshad Warsi's Statement

Prabhas starrer 'Kalki 2898 AD' rocked the box office. These days the film is rocking the OTT platform. Recently, Arshad Warsi had commented on Kalki 2898 AD actor Prabhas looking like a joker. After this now film director Nag Ashwin has responded to Arshad Warsi's comment. Meanwhile, Kalki 2898 AD producer Swapna Dutt has reacted to the reaction of her brother-in-law and film director Nag Ashwin in which she had reacted to Arshad Warsi calling actor Prabhas a 'joker' in the film.

Swapna Dutt said this about Arshad Warsi's comment

In fact, Kalki 2898 AD producer Swapna Dutt praised Nag Ashwin's calm response to Arshad Warsi's statement during an interview. She said, "I really liked Nagi's response. We remained calm because the film proved itself for what it is. Prabhas was brilliant in the film as always. We should give credit to the generosity of Nag Ashwin and Prabhas. They are very comfortable with these things".

Swapna Dutt said this about Nag Ashwin

Not only this, Swapna Dutt further said, "Naagi recently tweeted that he will send him a toy and will work hard for the second part. He only wants Arshad to return and use better language and that is what makes Naagi who he is and what he is".

Arshad Warsi had said this about Prabhas

Let us tell you that Arshad Warsi had said that he is 'sad' that Prabhas was shown as a joker in Kalki 2898 A.D. "Amit ji was unbelievable... Prabhas, I am really sad, why was he like that. He was like a joker. Why? I want to see 'Mad Max'. I want to see Mel Gibson in there. What have you made him into, man. Why don't you explain this to me?" Arshad's comments were heavily criticized by Prabhas' fans. 

Director Nag Ashwin replied to Arshad Warsi's comment

Let's not go backwards..no more north-south or bolly vs tolly..eyes on the bigger picture.. United Indian Film Industry..Arshad saab should have chosen his words better..but it's ok..sending buji toys 4 his kids..il work hard so tweets fdfs that prabhas was the best ever in k2💪

A few days later, Nag Ashwin took to X (formerly Twitter) to talk about it. A fan posted a clip from the science-fiction film, which also featured Prabhas. Sharing it, the fan wrote, "This one scene (bigger than symbols) >>>> entire Bollywood... Kalki 2898 AD... Prabhas." Reacting to this, Nag Ashwin tweeted, "Let's not go back... No more North-South or Bollywood vs Tolly (Bollywood vs Tollywood). Look at the bigger picture. A united Indian film industry. Arshad sahab (sir) should have chosen his words better... but it's okay... sending budji toys for his kids. I will work hard so I can tweet... that Prabhas was the best ever in K2."
