Karan Johar remains in the headlines every day for some reason or the other. Filmmakers are very active on social media. Meanwhile, Karan Johar has expressed his anger towards the comedian who mimicked him in a comedy show.
Karan Johar expressed his disappointment on social media
Filmmaker Karan Johar shared a statement on his Instagram Stories, writing, "I was sitting with my mother watching TV and saw a promo of a reality comedy show on a supposedly respectable channel. A comedian was rude to me. That's what I expect from trolls and anonymous people, but when your industry disrespects someone who has been in the industry for 25 years, it says a lot about the times. We are living. This doesn't even make me angry, it just makes me sad." Many social media users took the help of Instagram, X, and Reddit to decode this post of Karan Johar. Many people speculated that he was talking about comedian Ketan Singh of Sony TV's comedy show 'Madness Machayenge'. In the promo of the show, Ketan posed as Karan and took a dig at his chat show 'Koffee with Karan'.
Ekta Kapoor supported Karan Johar
Filmmaker Ekta Kapoor shared Karan Johar's statement on her Instagram stories and expressed her support. "This has happened many times! Sometimes there is crude humor in shows and even in award functions. And then they expect you to join in! Karan, please ask them to imitate one of your films or a classic of urs," Ekta wrote. Karan reposted the story and replied, "Love you Ektu."
