It is not important in which language you are making a film. What matters is what you are making. Look at what we have made. We have done all this with our heart. I want to thank my beloved Ekta Kapoor, who always supported me and said 'Okay, we will do this together'. Whatever we have done, we have always been super successful. I am very confident this time too. It is going to be fantastic. She has been my backbone".

The trailer of 'The Buckingham Murders' begins with Kareena Kapoor asking several suspects to reveal their exact location on the evening of November 14. Suspicions grow in the volatile community after the death of a boy, and a Muslim teenager is taken into police custody. Amidst these tensions, Kareena's Jasmeet Bhamra, a detective and a mother enters and begins an investigation to understand what happened on that fateful evening. Everyone is a suspect. She is also blamed for creating an uproar in the community with her ongoing investigation. Will she be able to get to the truth?

'The Buckingham Murders' will be released on September 13

Buckingham Murders is directed by Hansal Mehta and features Kareena in the role of a detective who has to investigate the murder of a 10-year-old child in Buckinghamshire. Apart from Kareena Kapoor, 'The Buckingham Murders' also stars Ash Tandon, Ranveer Brar and Keith Allen in lead roles. The film is written by Aseem Arora, Kashyap Kapoor and Raghav Raj Kakkar. With this film, Kareena is making her debut as a producer, which is also backed by Shobha Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor along with Balaji Telefilms and TBM Films. 'The Buckingham Murders' is directed by Hansal Mehta. The film will release in theaters on 13 September 2024.
