Today, 26 July 2025 marks 26 years of India's victory in the Kargil War. Kargil Vijay Diwas is celebrated every year on 26 July to celebrate India's victory over Pakistan in the Kargil War in 1999 to expel Pakistani forces from their occupied positions on the mountain peaks of North Kargil district in Ladakh. On the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, many Bollywood stars paid emotional tribute to the armed soldiers.
Sidharth Malhotra shared the post
Sharing a photo of the Army officer who was posthumously awarded the Param Vir Chakra, Sidharth Malhotra wrote, "To the countless brave hearts who stood firm so that we could sleep safe and sound, your soul lives on in every heartbeat of a proud and glorious nation. Salute your sacrifice today and always. Kargil Vijay Diwas".
