"Guru-shishya bond withSarojji was very special because ofherart. I used to love the way she used to picturize a song andherdance movements. We had pledged that we will do a lot of songs together but I want every song to be unique. That is how she came up with hook steps. She used to say, people will connect automatically with the steps. Then sometimes she used to say, ‘why did I agree with you for that because I used to remember every step. Whenever steps got repeated, I used to tell ‘Sarojji arre we used this in this song’ and she was like ‘baap re tu hathi ki tarah memory rakhti hai aur ab main pareshan ho gayi hun’, (laughs)"MadhuriDixitshared,whileopening up aboutherbond with legendary dancer choreographerSarojKhan.

Elaborating onherbond with the late choreographer,MadhuriDixitgotemotionaland said, "She used to come up with so many beautiful dance numbers. The way she used to choreograph, the way she was, I mean she used to shout or whatever used to happen, I used to loveherbecause ofherart and how she was a woman in a man’s world. She was the first woman choreographer who made it to the top and I had a lot of respect for that."
"She used to say you are like my daughter on the sets, so don't worry about anything. Yes, I really missher,"MadhuriDixitconcluded with tears inhereyes.
