Mardaani 3 Shooting Update: Rani Mukerji’s Film to Begin Filming on This Date

Bollywood actress Rani Mukerji is once again ready to play the role of a police officer. The actress has been in the news for a long time regarding the film Mardaani 3. Meanwhile, the latest information about the film Mardaani 3 is coming out, hearing which the fans will be very excited.

The shooting of the film will begin in June

In fact, according to media reports, the director is planning to cast the role of a police officer by June. The Yash Raj Films team is fully engaged in pre-production. The script is being fine-tuned and look tests are going on. Auditions are underway to bring in new talent. The focus is on finding a strong villain. Apart from this, the production team has finalised the primary shooting locations. A part of the action film will be shot in Mumbai and Delhi. In the next few weeks, the team will also finalise some locations in North India.

Announcing the film, the actress said, "When we decided to make Mardaani 3, we were hoping that we would get a script that would make the experience of watching the film of the Mardaani franchise even better. I am really excited about what we have in store and I am just hoping that the audience feels the same after watching Mardaani 3 in theaters!"

Continuing her talk, Rani Mukerji further added, "Mardaani is a much-loved franchise and we have a certain responsibility to live up to people's expectations. We will try our best to live up to it. Mardaani 3 is dark, deadly and brutal. So, I am eager to know people's reaction to my film. I hope they will love this film as much as they always have".

Yash Raj Films' Mardaani is the most successful female-led franchise in Hindi cinema. The first part of Mardaani (Mardaani Part 1) was released in 2014 and its sequel (Mardaani Part 2) also came in 2019. Both the films were big hits at the box office. Mardaani 3 will be directed by Abhiraj Minawala, who has also been produced by YRF. His potential was recognized by Aditya Chopra and he was first given a chance to play supporting roles in films like Band Baaja Baaraat, Gunday, Sultan, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Tiger 3. Abhiraj is currently the associate director of War 2
