Colors TV is all set to welcome audiences with a new television show, "Seher Hone Ko Hai," which will also be released on JioHotstar. This Hindi drama is set in the beautiful, poetic city of Lucknow and will showcase a glimpse of Islamic culture. "Seher Hone Ko Hai" tells the story of a Muslim family, where the deep conflict between tradition and modernity is depicted. The show's story centers on a conservative Muslim family, where a mother (Kausar) is willing to go to any lengths to educate her daughter (Seher). It also tells the story of a heartbroken and emotionally unstable man, set against the backdrop of Lucknow. "Seher Hone Ko Hai" primarily centers on a mother-daughter relationship—Seher dreams of becoming a doctor one day, but her own family becomes the biggest obstacle in her path. Yet, Seher continues to pursue her goal with courage, hope, and quiet determination.

On the other hand, Parth Samthaan (Parth Samthaan Show) plays Mahid Niazi—a man who is emotionally broken but has a strong sense of justice and believes in punishing wrongdoers in his own way. Mahid doesn't like women pursuing their dreams or venturing outside the home. However, his meeting with Seher will change the course of his life and force him to confront himself. The show's promo shows that Seher and Mahid's marriage has been arranged by both families.
