He is not an ordinary Bollywood star. He is a Delhi boy and his childhood was away from the glitz and glamor of the big screen. But Parveen had a fire in his gut and a dream in his eyes that brought him from the corridors of school to the glamor of the set.

His family is from the Kanjhawala area of ​​outer Delhi. Young Parveen honed his skills at Modern School Vasant Vihar and then Hans Raj College, Delhi University. But textbooks could not hold his creativity hostage. The world of cinema called him and Parveen knew he had to answer this call.

In 1999, his dream came true with his first small role in the film "Dillagi" and the following year, he played the lead role in a Malayalam film, "Ayyappantamma Neyyappam Chuttu", proving his versatility in all languages.

Then came a big turn, in 2001, Parveen played a role in Mira Nair's critically acclaimed film "Monsoon Wedding. Parveen's talent shined and he got the ladder to move up.

From there, his career took off and he appeared in several Bollywood films, each of which added a new color to his artistic canvas. Films like 'tumse milke, Yehi Hai Jindgi, and "The Hero: Love Story of a Spy" showcased his acting range, while "Maine Gandhi Ko Nahi Mara" and "Khosla Ka Ghosla" brought him real critical praise

In 2011, he directed his film "Sahi Dhandhe Galat Bande", the film not only won the hearts of the audience but also won prestigious awards at international film festivals.
