Preity Zinta responds to question on defamation case against Rahul Gandhi

Actually, on Thursday evening, Preity Zinta held an Ask Me Anything session on X, in which Preity Zinta answered questions on the defamation case against Rahul Gandhi. Preity wrote, "Today suddenly seems like the perfect day for #Pzchat! Any suggestions for chat or should we keep it normal? Let me know friends, because I have an hour to chat".

"I have no problem with Rahul Gandhi either" - Preity Zinta

During the conversation, a fan asked, "When are you filing a defamation case against Rahul Gandhi?" Responding to this, the actress said, "I don't think it is right to defame someone in this way, because he is not responsible for someone else's actions. I believe in handling problems or issues directly and not through proxy fights. I don't have any problem with Rahul Gandhi either, so let him be in peace and I will be in peace too."

Will the actress join politics?

Apart from this, Preity Zinta was asked about joining politics. A fan said, "You are really a soldier Preity!! Salute to you!! Just excited, is there any plan to join politics?" Answering this question, the actress said, "No! There is no politics for me. In the last few years, various political parties have offered me tickets and Rajya Sabha seats, but I have politely refused because it is not what I want. Calling me a soldier is not completely wrong because I am a soldier's daughter and a soldier's sister". 

"Army kids are different"- Preity Zinta

Continuing her point Preity Zinta said, “We Fauji Kids/Army Kids are different. We are not North Indian or South Indian or Himachali or Bengali etc. We are just Indians and yes patriotism and national pride is in our blood. If you know, you know Ting”.
