Veteran Hindi cinema actor Rishi Kapoor may not be among us today, but his powerful acting had made a special place in the hearts of the people. Today, i.e. 4 September 2024, is Rishi Kapoor's 72nd birth anniversary and on this occasion, his daughter Riddhima Kapoor has remembered him with a special note.
Riddhima Kapoor shared a post for her father
Riddhima Kapoor shared an old photo of her father's birthday on Instagram Stories on Wednesday. Rishi, dressed in a black T-shirt, is sitting at the edge of the dining table and is about to cut a homemade birthday cake. Colourful balloons with 'Happy Birthday' signs can also be seen in the background. Samara is sitting on Rishi's lap and is eager to eat the birthday cake.
Riddhima wrote this after sharing the photo
Riddhima shared the photo and wrote, "Happy birthday Papa. Wish you were here celebrating your special day with both your granddaughters. Your 'Bandari' Sam is all grown up and baby Raha is the cutest. She is a little you. Papa, I will always cherish the memories we got to share. We miss you so much, and our love for you grows deeper with each passing day." Rishi's wife Neetu Kapoor also reposted Riddhima's wishes on her Instagram Stories along with others.

Neetu Kapoor shared a picture on her Instagram handle in which Rishi is wearing a black suit and blowing out the candles on his birthday cake. She captioned the post, "Yaad mein aaj 72 saal jaaye". Riddhima and actor Abhishek Bachchan made red heart emojis in the comments section.
Rakesh Roshan remembers his friend Rishi Kapoor
Along with this, Rishi Kapoor's old friend and filmmaker Rakesh Roshan also shared a picture remembering the late actor in which he, Rishi and veteran actor Jeetendra are dressed in black. He wrote in the caption on his Instagram handle, "Chintu is gone but will never be forgotten, your soul still lives in our hearts".

Let us tell you that Rishi Kapoor said goodbye to this world on 30 April 2020. He was last seen in the film Sharmaji Namkeen. However, he could not complete the shooting of this film, due to which after his death, half of his role was done by Paresh Rawal.
