Rupali Ganguly Slams Fawad Khan: Tensions between Indian and Pakistani actors have escalated again after Pakistani actor Fawad Khan called India's 'Operation Sindoor' "shameful". Now, Indian actress Rupali Ganguly has strongly criticized Fawad Khan's comments in the wake of the deadly terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir.

Rupali Ganguly also reacted to the Indian government's decision to ban Pakistani content on OTT platforms. Rupali Ganguly supported this move on social media and said, "In times of increasing tension, we must protect our digital borders. Salute to the Modi government for banning Pakistani streaming content".

Let us tell you that the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting had issued a directive directing all OTT and media streaming platforms to immediately suspend all songs, films, series, podcasts, and other media content coming from Pakistan, citing national security concerns. The ministry's notice said, "All OTT platforms, media streaming services and intermediaries should immediately stop streaming web series, films, songs, podcasts and any other content coming from Pakistan".

'Operation Sindoor' was a retaliatory strike by the Indian armed forces targeting terrorist hideouts in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) after the Pahalgam terror attack. Referring to this operation, Fawad Khan had posted on social media, "I offer my heartfelt condolences to the families of those killed or injured in this shameful attack. May the departed souls rest in peace, and strength to their loved ones. Stop fuelling the fire with inflammatory words. Nothing is more important than the lives of innocent people. May good sense prevail. Insha Allah. Pakistan Zindabad!"
