Sardaar ji 3 Controversy: The controversy over Diljit Dosanjh's upcoming film 'Sardaar Ji 3' is increasing continuously. Since the release of the film's trailer, Diljit Dosanjh is being trolled for working with Pakistani actress Hania Aamir. At the same time, many social media users are also demanding to boycott the film. Meanwhile, the makers of Sardar Ji 3 have broken their silence on the casting of Hania Aamir in the film.

Let us tell you that the makers of Sardar Ji 3 issued a statement on the social media account Instagram defending their decision to cast Hania Aamir. Sharing the post on Instagram, the makers wrote, "It is to be brought to everyone's notice that the shooting of the film titled Sardar Ji 3 took place much before the current situation in our country and it never happened that any Pakistani artist was signed or used after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam".

In the note, the makers further wrote, "We stand united with our country and our fellow countrymen in this sensitive time. Keeping this in mind, we have decided not to release the film or any of its promotional material in India until the situation becomes favorable".

'Sardarji 3' will be released only in foreign countries

Apart from Diljit Dosanjh and Hania Aamir, 'Sardarji 3' also stars Pakistani actors Daniel Khawar, Nasir Chinioti, and Salim Albela, and Punjabi superstar Neeru Bajwa. The story of the film revolves around a team that goes to a haunted castle in the UK with armed soldiers. After an invisible spirit defeats them, the owner decides to call Dosanjh for help. The film is directed by Amar Hundal and will be released in theaters abroad on June 27.

Let us tell you that this controversy regarding Sardar Ji 3 has come to the fore after the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 22 April, after which India launched Operation Sindoor on 7 May, in which air strikes were carried out on terrorist bases in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. The increasing tensions renewed the call for a boycott of Pakistani artists, and after this, the release of Fawad Khan and Vaani Kapoor's film Abir Gulaal was stopped. The social media accounts of many Pakistani artists, including Hania Aamir, are no longer accessible in India.
