Shilpa Shetty Faces Legal Trouble: Police have taken action against Shilpa Shetty's Bengalururestaurant, Bastian. It's alleged that the restaurant remained open beyond its scheduled opening hours and held late-night events, violating regulations. (Shilpa Shetty Bengaluru Pub) Based on complaints received by the police, they have registered a case under Section 103 of the Karnataka Police Act. The case was registered at the Cubbon Park police station, as Bastian is located on St. Mark's Road in Bengaluru.

A case was registered because of this

In fact, according to media reports, Bastion remained open until 1:30 a.m. on December 11th, well past the designated closing time. Police have filed a case against the restaurant's managers and staff for violating regulations. In addition to Bastion, a case has also been filed against the Sour Berry Pub on Residency Road. As part of the investigation, statements from eight individuals and members of the pub staff have been recorded.

Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra have been accused of fraud

Let us tell you that in August 2025, the EOW registered a case against Raj Kundra, Shilpa Shetty (Raj Kundra Fraud Case), and another person following a complaint by businessman Deepak Kothari. Deepak Kothari alleges that he was defrauded of over ₹60 crore (Shilpa Shetty-Raj Kundra Case) in a debt-investment deal involving his now-defunct company, Best Deal TV Private Limited. He claims that funds invested in business development between 2015 and 2023 were misused for personal use. The EOW is currently investigating these allegations. So far, statements have been recorded from five people, including Raj Kundra.

Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra's lawyer denies the allegations

However, Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra's lawyer had previously denied these allegations, saying they were purely civil in nature and had already been adjudicated by the NCLT Mumbai on October 4, 2024. Lawyer Prashant Patil said, "This is an old transaction in which the company ran into financial trouble and ultimately became embroiled in a protracted legal battle at the NCLT. There is no criminal matter involved, and our auditors have submitted all the necessary supporting documents, including detailed cash flow statements, as requested by the EOW from time to time."
