Bharatiya Janata Party MP Tejasvi Surya tied the knot with popular Karnataka singer Sivasri Skandaprasad on Thursday, March 6, 2025. Close family members and some select political allies attended the wedding. Meanwhile, the couple's wedding photos have also surfaced.

Let us tell you that Bengaluru South MP Tejasvi Surya married Karnataka singer Sivasri Skandaprasad in a traditional ceremony in Bengaluru (Tejasvi Surya marries Sivasri Skandaprasad). In the pictures on social media, many political leaders including BJP leaders Annamalai, Pratap Simha, Amit Malviya, BY Vijayendra, and Union Minister V Somanna were seen. In these pictures, while Sivasri Skandaprasad was seen in a yellow Kanchipuram silk saree and gold jewellery, Tejasvi Surya was wearing a white and golden outfit. In another set of pictures, the bride is seen in a red-maroon-colored saree, while the BJP MP is seen in an off-white outfit.

Sivasri Skandaprasad is a versatile artist, known for her expertise in Carnatic music, Bharatanatyam and visual arts, seamlessly blending traditional and contemporary expressions. Coming from a rich musical background, she trained in classical Carnatic music under Guru A.S. Murali and has performed at prestigious platforms such as Brahma Gana Sabha and Karthika Lalit Kala. Her artistic journey has also taken her beyond international boundaries, where she participated in cultural exchange programs in Denmark and South Korea. Academically accomplished, she holds a degree in Bioengineering from SASTRA University and a Master's degree in Bharatanatyam from the University of Madras. Additionally, she has studied Sanskrit and obtained a Diploma in Ayurvedic Cosmetology, further adding to her diverse skill set.
