This film will bring awareness about the law that forces Hindus to migrate

A lot has been written and shown on the way Hindus migrated from Kashmir in the nineties. A film like 'The Kashmir Files' has also been made on the situation in Jammu and Kashmir at that time and the exodus of Hindus from there. Whatever was happening in Kashmir was against the law and humanity. But the exodus of Hindus was completely this is happening from many parts of the country. And this is happening due to a law in our country, which has no hearing anywhere. Raising this issue, Sohni Kumar, a girl from a village in Barmer, Rajasthan, has seen the film 'Aakhir Palayan Kab Tak' has been made, which was directed and written by Mukul Vikram. The cast of the film includes actors like Rajesh Sharma, Bhushan Patial, Sohni Kumari, and Chittaranjan Giri. This film is going to be screened in cinema halls across the country on 16th February.

On Tuesday, February 6, the trailer of the film "Aakhir Palayan Kab Tak" was launched at Cinepolis Multiplex in Andheri, West Mumbai. After watching the trailer, one realized that this film is a story of land grabbing, where a religious community has been targeted. By the way, on the occasion of this tailor launch, six victim families were also present, who narrated their plight. After listening to their plight, I realized that the main reason for the migration of Hindus is the 'Waqf Act 1995' of our country, it is the same law made in 1954. There is an amended Act, which has given unlimited powers to the Waqf Board.

What is the main subject of the film?

What is the main subject of the film?

This is what comes to light when we look deeply into history. The Waqf Act was passed in the Indian Parliament in 1954 in line with the secular framework of the Indian Constitution. The idea behind this Act was to take care of minority interests by donating land to the Waqf Board and allocating land for the construction of mosques. The then-ruling establishment thought that unlike Pakistan, which took away the lands of migrating Hindus, the Indian government would not take over the lands of migrating Muslims. Those lands were given to the Waqf Board. However, an amendment in 1995 allegedly gave the Waqf Board undue powers to lay claim to any land. A dispute over a piece of land with a Waqf can be settled only by a Waqf Tribunal. Their order cannot be challenged even by the Supreme Court of India.

Producer and actress of the film about the film

After the trailer launch of the film, the film's producer and actress Sohni Kumar, who played an important role in the film, said - "This film is the voice of the people, not of any particular community. Our film talks about right and wrong. It is wrong, we believe in calling it wrong. Making this film is very important in today's times. Let me tell you an incident. My maternal grandfather passed away at the age of 96. A few days before that I told him That Akbar was a great king. Nana Ji called me slapped me twice and said - "We know what he was."

Why did Sohni Kumari produce this film?

Akhir Palayan Kab Tak is Sohni Kumari's first film as a producer. When we asked her why she chose this bold subject to make her first film, Sohni Kumari said - "I want to make a great film on a social issue." I wanted. Because I want to do something good for my country and society. As you know I am connected to the ground. I am from Barmer, Rajasthan. I have seen a lot from the village till I reached Mumbai. I am into politics. Be it politics or geopolitics, I connect myself with everything. I would like to tell every young man and woman that he should know what is happening in the country. What happened twenty years ago, and why did it happen today? What are the possibilities of what will happen after ten years? I am interested in knowing all this. When I studied at my level, I thought that good work was being done in cinema. People like the films. But the filmmaker also remains blind to the real events. There are many dangerous laws in the country, which are mandatory to reach the people. Our young generation is unaware of the issue we have raised in our film 'Aakhir Palayan Kab Tak'. They are engrossed in their entertainment. We believe that every young man/girl should be aware of the truth along with entertainment. Otherwise, you will never realize what can happen tomorrow. The kind of films our young generation has been watching for a long time. Yes, he has got used to it. He has completely adapted to the same scenario and environment. But it is not that he is completely happy with it. Everyone I meet is in a very different way. Whereas in my opinion, every youth should know about every political and social aspect of India. Every youth should know about geopolitics. I am very interested in it. I read a lot, watch a lot of videos, and watch movies. I will continue making films in the future also.”

Actor Chittaranjan Giri on this film

Actor Chittaranjan Giri, who played the role of an honest and truthful journalist in the film, while discussing his association with the film, said, "After doing 'Farzi' with Shahid Kapoor, I was looking for such a film. , which talks about peace and my character should be challenging. Because I believe that acting becomes fun only when the character is difficult to play. Because when we take training, we have to research all the angles of the character. It is taught. Sometimes the characters are too stereotyped. Then the question arises as to what to do. Because the script of the film is good, the director is good. The film is also being made well. Then we have to put our conventions. But when we get a character with depth, for example - the character of the film 'Aakhir Palayan Kab Tak', then it is quite challenging. This was the challenge before us. Whatever we have to say, we have to say it in a completely genuine manner. So for that, first we had to be honest with ourselves. Then we had to understand the honesty of the character. When these challenges are exchanged then it is fun to act. "

Because the truth of a journalist, the way a journalist brings out the truth, his work is only the truth has to reach the people. Whatever is true, it should be presented before the people in the same manner. I have a dialogue in the film - "If you don't call wrong wrong, then the unintelligent person will understand it as truth."

The writer and director of the film Mukul Vikram on the film

The main villain of the film Dhirendra Dwivedi about film

Actor Dhirendra Dwivedi, who played the role of the main villain in 'Aakhir Palayan Kab Tak', needs no introduction. After receiving training from the National School of Drama, he came to Mumbai and worked as an assistant director in the film 'Kaminey'. After that, he has shown his acting skills in many films including 'Paan Singh Tomar', 'Ishqiya', 'PK', 'Dhak Dhak', and ‘Bhootnath Returns' and some web series including 'Chhuna'. Discussing the character of this film, he said -'' I have played a negative character in this film. Because of this, a family is suffering. This family is helpless and how it is taking advantage of the helplessness of that family. The character has his journey. He has his own social and political influence. This character is quite different from my personal life.

Taking his point further, Dhirendra Dwivedi said - "I am forty years old. Still, I was not aware of the issue that has been mentioned in the film 'Aakhir Palayan Kab Tak'. Now the issues that have come out I am coming to know that all that information was suppressed. This was also a problem. It was a problem. There are many laws which are still suppressed. There are many government policies that have been in place for a long time. This is going on, neither the journalists know about it, nor if they knew then they never highlighted this law/issue. We never got to read about it in the newspaper. We also heard about it on any news channel. Today we come to know about such suppressed laws and we can make a film on it, we have this freedom. I don't think that till some time back the filmmaker had this kind of freedom. If I say so, even today there is not that much freedom. Even today questions come. Just some time ago a journalist raised the question of whether after all, migration is a 'propaganda film' for how long'. So if we film the true events happening in society. When we present it through television, it is labeled a 'propaganda film'. This means that such people do not want films that tell the truth to be made. But that is what is happening in front of our eyes. We are showing it. How can you call it propaganda?

Discussing the experience of acting in the film, Dhirendra Dwivedi said, "It was very good. I had previously done a film with Mukul Vikram, ‘Wrongleela’, so we were quite familiar with each other's working style. ''

The first film of actor Bhushan Pattali

This is the first film of actor Bhushan Pattali, who plays the role of a police officer in the film. On the occasion of Trailer’s launch, he said - "I am originally from Himachal Pradesh and have been fond of acting since childhood. Every child sees himself watching a movie. I also start seeing it as a part of it. That's why I came to Delhi and completed my B.Tech. I did a lot of theater in Delhi. In total, I acted in fourteen and fifteen plays. I also directed some plays. This was from 2006 to 2008. After that, business and then coming to Mumbai. Now I am entering the acting world with 'Aakhir Palayan Kab Tak'.

What did you see so special in 'Aakhir Palayan Kab Tak' that you decided to step into Bollywood with this film? On this question he said - "I was looking for a great story and character. Then one day Mukul Vikram told me this story and my character. I was asked to play the character of a person in this film, as I am from nowhere in my personal life. I saw a challenge in this character. I accepted this role from my side. I have tried to create a distinct identity among the audience through the character. After living with this character for five to six months, it was very difficult for me to get rid of it.

Bhushan Pattali further said- “I think it was necessary to make a film on such a subject. I enjoyed acting in this film.
